This is an interesting map with a scrolling timeline that shows the loacations of conflicts throughout the ages. You may not be able to click on specific year to jump to it as the years themsleves are not buttons. Instaed the map uses arrow buttons to either side of hte timline to scroll through the time line which is an interesting feature in and of itself. The conflicts will show even if you place the highlighted part of the timeline between two hashmarks and show the conflicts occuring around the globe at the time.
